Competition Dates for 2011/2012 season:
To be determined
We will be looking at competing in three (3) in town competitions and 1 out of town competition.
How to be part of competitions :
To be part of the competitive team, you must be asked by the Artistic Director Debbie Favot to audition. Please also inform the Director if you are interested in competing. Once you are chosen, you have to be aware that competition is a big commitment with very strict guidelines.
You must attend all classes. Anyone missing more than 3 classes of one subject commencing November 1, will not be allowed to compete.
If you are sick, you must present a doctors note or this will be regarded as a missed class or classes.
With competitions, extra lessons are involved and they are usually held on Sundays or during the March break.. ( Sundays are mandatory ) – no extra charge.
No one is allowed to miss one week prior to any competition. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to perform.
