Debbie Favot B.A.T.D., D.M.A.
Debbie Favot has been dancing since the age of four. She has trained in the arts of Baton, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Ballet and Modern. From the age of five, she trained at the Maxine School of Dance. She finished her training at the age of nineteen. Concurrently, from fourteen to nineteen years of age, she had also trained at the Cawthra Park School of Arts. Debbie has been teaching professionally for over eleven years. She is a former Toronto Argonaut Cheerleader and has performed in many CFL awards and various trade shows. Debbie as well as her students, have both won numerous “High Score” and “Achievement” awards at a wide number of competitions. Her students have won a number of titles, some of which include Miss D.E.A (Dance Educators of America) Toronto, Miss Small Fry D.E.A., and Miss Junior Starpower Detroit. She has choreographed for high school cheerleading teams and is currently working on choreography with new and upcoming musicians. She has also choreographed “strut” productions for the dance department at the Cawthra Park School of th Arts and has choreographed various high school productions such as West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Grease.

Paula Burnett B.A.T.D
Paula began her dance training when she was 5 years old. Training extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, acrobatics and musical theatre at Coffey’s Danc’n Place Ltd. She studied the Royal Academy of Dancing, where she completed the grades and major exams. Competing in many competitions across North America winning many overalls and scholarships. Paula also competed in the Dance Masters of America Petite, Jr. and Miss Dance pageants.
Paula went on to further her dance training at Mayfield Secondary School for the Arts. She completed a 4-year regional arts program, majoring in dance, where she studied ballet, modern, jazz, dance theory and graduated with an O.A.C. in dance. At an early age of 16 she started teaching after receiving highly commended on her B.A.T.D. associates exam. Teaching classes in jazz, tap and acro at competition and recital level. Paula is the head of the acrobatics department at The Dance Zone, as well as Coffey’s Danc’n Place. Paula’s students have competed in numerous competitions across Canada and the U.S. winning many awards. Some past achievements include the Canadian National Exhibition Rising Star where her students made it the finals. At the Dance Caravan Nationals her students were awarded 1st overall Jr. group, highest score Jr. routine, 3rd overall Jr. line and 3rd overall Jr. duet. Paula’s students accomplishments also include many overalls, high scores, scholarships, audition awards and pageant titles, including Mini Miss Dance 2000, chapter 43.
